I am a North Carolina native, growing up in Eastern NC. I received my undergraduate degree from East Carolina University in 1995. I began my professional career at Central Carolina Bank, where I met my fantastic future wife, Blair! I then moved to First Union bank and spent the next 14yrs there (First Union later became Wachovia), where I learned the importance of customer service excellence and building meaningful relationships. I graduated from Meredith College with a Masters of Business in 2005 and that began my desire for Blair and I to start our own business. The idea for Perpetual Home Care was born in 2007 as a result of a family situation we were handling. It was then that Blair and I decided that families should not travel this path of caring for a loved one alone. We have strived, and continue to strive, to provide the most compassionate, caring, respectful caregivers in the industry. We have a strong passion to provide the care that every family deserves and to serve as a resource for families as they navigate the overwhelming process of caring for a loved one.
I was born in Raleigh, NC and I have lived here my entire life. I enjoy traveling and have been to four different countries. I was an exchange student in High School in Australia and loved it.
I graduated from North Carolina State University in December, 1992 with a degree in Business Management. I worked for Central Carolina Bank for seven years in different management positions. While working there I acquired leadership, marketing and customer service skills. I started my master’s degree at Meredith College after my first child was born. I finished after the third was born receiving a Masters of Business Administration degree, MBA. I have stayed home with my three children until my husband, Brian, and I started Perpetual Home Care.
